P.A. Geddie
Publisher & Managing Editor
P.A. has an extensive background in publishing, having worked for
numerous magazines and newspapers in Dallas and San Antonio as well as in the East Texas
area. She's held many positions in the industry including reporter, editor, production
artist and freelance writer. She has also owned her own promotions
company for 15 years as well as worked for several other marketing firms.
While growing up in the suburbs of Dallas P.A. made numerous trips with
her family to Van Zandt County to visit relatives and the "old home
place" of both her
parents. She comes from a long line of Van Zandters some arriving as far back as the
1860's.
Deep roots and the natural beauty of the land enticed P.A. to leave the
rat race of the big city in June 1998 and make Van Zandt County her home. She lives in
"Geddieville" on Rhines Lake between Van and Ben Wheeler.
P.A. enjoys reading, writing, playing guitar, bonfires, nature walks, and
spending time with family and friends.
